Margaret Thatcher’s tough approach
She famously said it herself, “ The lady is not for turning.” It summed up her determination to press ahead with what she believed in - whatever her critics thought. Her refusal to back down, her conviction, meant she was able to change the face of Britain like no other post war Prime Minister. ITV’s Chris Ship reports whether that change was for the better is still being debated, nearly quarter of a century later.
