Huge storm system heads east

Much of the country’s midsection will face severe storms and a high risk of tornadoes. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

>>> up and down the california coast millions of americans are dealing with strong santa ana winds . winds clocked at upwards of 70 miles per hour in places today, knocking down trees while l.a. saw huge waves this afternoon. to the rockies and parts of wyoming, south dakota , nebraska, colorado, they are expecting a snowstorm, up to two feet in places. as that system moves to the east much of the nation's mid section will be dealing with severe storm and a high risk of tornadoes.
