Explosives sent to Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio

A package sent to the controversial sheriff containing explosive material could have done serious damage if an alert USPS carrier hadn’t observed “something suspicious.” NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

>>> law enforcement officials in arizona today said a package sent to the high profile joe arpaio would have exploded but an alert mail carrier flagged it for inspection. he was fond of calling himself the toughest sheriff in america and told reporters he's concerned for his family's safety and added, i didn't ask for all these threats. several law enforcement officials have been murdered in recent days including colorado's director of prisons and a texas district attorney.
