George Zimmerman tells judge he will not testify

On the last day of their case, George Zimmerman’s defense team focused on an expert’s testimony on the use of force. Zimmerman, who decided Wednesday not to testify, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, saying he fired in self-defense. NBC’s Ron Mott reports.

>> reporter: most of the final day in the defense case focused on the testimony on an expert in the use of force .

>> reporter: he says that zimmerman had no other option but to shoot. zimmerman plead guilty y -- not guilty to second degree murder.

>> reporter: focusing on zimmerman 's face and head injuries , are they consistent with the attack.

>> what about those lacerations, if someone was resisting me, pushing down like this, could those injuries come from that?
