'It’s like the world is opening up a new subdivision'

Scientists are now predicting that melting ice will result in ice-free arctic summers by 2050. As the ice leaves, tourists are expected to pour in. Officials gathered today in Washington, D.C. to talk about what the challenges arctic summer vacations will bring for Alaskan and federal authorities.
