Kathrada: 'We won our dignity'

South African liberation leader Ahmed Mohamed Kathrada was sentenced to life in prison for his struggle against apartheid in South Africa, and served 18 years of that sentence in Robben Island Maximum Security Prison. The political activist and former member of parliament reflects on the grim conditions of prison and on the hard-won victories he helped lead alongside the late President of South Africa Nelson Mandela.
