LBJ signs Civil Rights Act of 1964

President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 at the White House July 2, 1964. The landmark legislation outlawed discrimination based on race, gender, ethnic, national or religious grounds. Ed Herliy is the voice of Universal News.
