Michelle Knight, held prisoner for years in Cleveland, speaks out

In her first one-on-one interview, Michelle Knight told TV host Dr. Phil how she made it through 11 years of captivity. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

>> yes. but that would be taking the easy way out. i wanted my son to know me as a victor, not a victim. and i wanted him to know that i survived loving him, his love got me through.

>> could you see his face clearly in your mind?

>> yeah.

>> could you hear his little voice?

>> saying, mommy, please don't do it, i need you.
