Heckler interrupts Obama during immigration reform talk

The Secret Service attempted to escort the protesters out of the event, but Obama said he wanted them to stay. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

>> the president in san francisco today. while he was there, he talked about immigration reform which has been stalled in congress. at one point though he was interrupted by someone shouting from the stage behind him calling for a halt in deportations. [ shouting ]

>> unusual for a protester to get so close to the president. the white house confirmed they were invited guests, part of an advocacy group t at the event. secret service tried to escort them out, but the president said he wanted them to stay. he told them he needs congress to change the law to stop deportations.
