Players Bake in Australian Open’s ‘Inhumane’ Heat

Temperatures of 108 degrees have made for very difficult playing conditions, causing a ball boy to pass out, and a player to collapse.

>>> now underway in melbourne, 108 it feels much hotter in the sun, spectators are getting baked in the stands. not the good kind. they're trying to cover all exposed skin. a ball boy passed out. a player who collapsed from the heat called conditions inhumane. it's been hot enough on the court to melt the bottom of a water bottle put down on the surface. it feels like when you open the oven when your baked potato is done.
