Longtime NBC News Reporter ‘One of the Best in the Business’

Garrick Utley, a veteran correspondent and anchor, has died at the age of 74 after a long battle with cancer.

>> with garrick utley , he was one of the most familiar faces on television, and at 6'6", had he was hard to miss, he was born in chicago, his father was a commentator on nbc. garrick got into the family business and became one of the first network reporters based in vietnam.
