Afghanistan war vet on his journey with PTSD
NBC News’ Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel first met Army Sgt. Louis Loftus in Afghanistan in 2010. The young Ohio man opened up about the toll his deployment was taking on him. Rock Center has followed Lofton’s journey from Afghanistan back home to Ohio and his struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder. Engel’s full report airs Thursday, Oct. 4 at 10pm/9c on NBC’s Rock Center with Brian Williams.
