Tween sisters outpace adults in endurance runs

The Welsch sisters, 12-year-old Kaytlynn and 10-year-old Heather, are two of the fastest and youngest endurance runners in the country. The girls’ plunge into the world of endurance running has left some questioning whether such intense competition against adults is healthy for young kids.  Kate Snow’s full report airs Friday, Feb. 8 at 10pm/9CDT on NBC’s Rock Center with Brian Williams.
