Mother and son advocate for juvenile prison reform

Rock Center's Ted Koppel sat down with Kevin DeMott who ended up in adult prison for an attempted armed robbery he committed when he was 13. Kevin was held in solitary confinement for much of the time he says he was locked up. Now 21 years old, he is out on parole and is working with his mother Lois DeMott to advocate for prison reform in Michigan.
