Mom, daughter describe surviving Boston bombings
Celeste and Sydney Corcoran describe surviving the Boston Marathon bombings in an exclusive interview with NBC News’ Natalie Morales. Sydney Corcoran, 18, was part of an iconic image circulated in the bombings’ aftermath that showed a stranger in a red shirt coming to her aid. Her mother, Celeste, was also wounded and had to have her legs amputated below the knee. Morales’ full interview with the Corcoran family airs Friday, April 26 at 10pm/9CDT on NBC’s Rock Center with Brian Williams.
