Coffee drinkers are always looking for a "lift." Now ride-sharing company "Lyft" and Starbucks are giving it to them.

Starbucks announced a partnership on Wednesday that would let riders earn "Stars" in Starbucks' loyalty program for every ride they took with Lyft. Drivers too can enroll and earn points. Stars can be redeemed for free food and drink at Starbucks.

The program would also let customers give their drivers tips in the form of Starbucks eGifts.

In addition, the companies announced they're testing ways in which Lyft could help Starbucks workers get to work.
