FBI: 'Suspicious' cruise ship death was from heart disease

The mystery in the "suspicious" death of a 64-year old woman who died while onboard the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas last weekend has been dispelled. The official autopsy reports indicate she died of heart disease, the FBI said Wednesday.

The woman's husband found her dead in their cabin with a laceration on her forehead by, said FBI Special Agent Rich Wolf of the Baltimore Division.

The woman's death was initially classified as "suspicious" -- a term used when the cause of death cannot be determined.

"We believed all along it was a health issue," said Wolf.

However, "When you come upon a scene and there's a laceration and there's blood, then it's a little more complicated," he said.

The Enchantment was on a seven-day cruise to the Bahamas. It concluded in Baltimore on Monday.
