Bill Clinton Says Hillary 'Doing Fine'
Former President Bill Clinton said Hillary Clinton is “doing fine” after falling ill and that she will be back on the campaign trail within a matter of days.
“She’s doing fine. She was even better last night before she went to sleep. She had a good night’s sleep. She just got dehydrated yesterday,” Bill Clinton told journalist Charlie Rose.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign revealed Sunday she had pneumonia after abruptly leaving a Sept. 11 memorial where she appeared unsteady.
Asked if it could be anything more than dehydration, Bill Clinton said, “if it is then it’s a mystery to me and all of her doctors.”
“Rarely, on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing’s happened to her when she got severely dehydrated, and she’s worked like a demon, as you know, as secretary of state, as a senator, and in the year since,” Clinton added.
The former president said he’ll be “lucky to hold her back another day.”
