Based on Sally Rooney’s book, the show follows two women (played by Alison Oliver and Sasha Lane) who become involved with an older couple (played by Joe Alwyn and Jemima Kirke).
“To me, the biggest issue we face is politicking versus service," Latina playwright Carmen Peláez said, "the cynical actors, versus the people that are really in it to serve."
The show, which drops its finale Friday on Hulu, follows the real-life story of Candy Montgomery, a housewife accused of murdering her close friend, Betty Gore, in 1980.
