Once again, everyone came for Vivek Ramaswamy.
Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who entered the debate with a wave of momentum, delivered the most attacks, clashing frequently with Ramaswamy over his business ties in China and TikTok and with Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina over government spending, accomplishments and even curtains.
Former President Donald Trump wasn’t on the debate stage Wednesday, but that didn’t mean he escaped criticism. Trump was actually attacked more than any other GOP candidate throughout the night, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie repeatedly calling him out for skipping the first two debates.
