One year since the disappearance of Colorado woman Kelsie Schelling, her family continues to grow desperate to find her and is asking the public for help.

“We’re doing everything in our power to find our missing loved one,” Schelling’s mother, Laura Saxton, said. “I’m never going to give up I’m going to keep looking for her I’m going to do everything I can to try to find her and bring justice for her.”

Schelling, 22, drove from Denver to Pueblo on the night of Feb. 4, 2013, to meet her boyfriend, Donthe Lucas.

Police say cell phone records indicate she made it to Pueblo, but hasn't been seen since.

Video surveillance from a Walmart parking lot in Pueblo shows Schelling’s black 2011 Chevrolet Cruze parked in front of the store around 12:05 p.m. on Feb. 5. The vehicle was left there overnight. The next morning at 7:20 a.m., an unidentified man can be seen getting into Schelling’s car and driving away.

Lead detective Neil Robinson has asked the public for help identifying the unknown man.

“Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Kelsie Schelling is urged to call,” Robinson said. “Call the police department or there is a missing person’s link through the Pueblo CrimeStoppers.”They can be reached at (719) 542-7867.

The car was eventually found more than a week later, on Feb. 14, at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital, four miles east of the Walmart where it had last been seen.

Saxton told “Dateline” that Schelling was eight weeks pregnant when she disappeared.

“Even though she's an adult, she's still my child and she was carrying a child,” Saxton said. “So there's two lives at stake.”

Saxton also said that after Schelling disappeared, her debit card was used once by Lucas. Police arrested him on suspicion of identity theft, but charges were later dropped.

Investigators have reported that there has been no other activity from Schelling on her financial accounts, her cell phone or on social media.

"The Pueblo Police Department believes that these facts make it a probability that Kelsie has met with foul play due to her disappearance," according to a statement they released in September.

The Pueblo Police Department also released a Facebook post in January saying the investigation “is not a cold case” and that her boyfriend “continues to be a person of interest.” No charges have been filed and police say Lucas has denied any involvement.

Schelling is 5-foot-4 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has three tattoos -- a Chinese symbol on the back of her neck, cursive writing on the inside of her left arm and a fleur-de-lis on her right rib cage.

The family is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to Schelling’s location.
