52-year-old Lynn Messer was reported missing by her husband Kerry on the morning of July 8th, after he woke up and found she was not at their Bloomsdale, Missouri home.
Professional searches have been conducted of the Messer farm and surrounding areas. In addition, Kerry Messer is leading a volunteer effort to locate his wife.
"We want to thank all our friends, the hundreds and hundreds of people who have been coming and helping us with searching, and the thousands who have joined us in praying for my wife," Messer told NBC affiliate KFVS.
Messer said there is still ground to cover and is asking for the public’s help.
While there is no evidence of foul play, the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol, who are leading the investigation,told KFVS that they not ruling anything out.
Messer is 5’2”and approximately 160 lbs. At the time of her disappearance, she had long greying hair and a broken right toe.
