Jordan Gray, a former contestant on "The Voice U.K.," released the music video for her song "Platinum," and it made history by becoming the first mainstream music video to feature a romance between a transgender woman and cisgender man.

"'Platinum' is about escaping confinement, pushing yourself, becoming everything you ever wanted and, ultimately, transcendence. Don’t let anybody make you feel small. You can be everything," Gray told Gay Star News.

Gray is also the first trans contestant to be on any version of "The Voice" across the world. Originally, she was not chosen by any of the coaches during the blind auditions, but after another contestant left the show for personal reasons, she was given a second chance to prove her stardom.

Gray went on to deliver multiple show-stopping performances before being knocked out in the semi-finals.

"Platinum" will be released as a single November 25.
