Gary Robert Anderson, of Sammamish, died May 23, 2006, after a long battle with liver disease at Cascade Vista in Redmond. He was 42.

Mr. Anderson was born Jan. 26, 1964, in Seattle. He enjoyed the water and spent many hours swimming, hydrosliding and boating in Lake Washington. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed building puzzles and creating arts and crafts projects. He also enjoyed shopping, eating out at restaurants and spending time with his aunt Linda Hansen, who treated him to many adventures. In 2003, he and his father moved to Sammamish to live with his sister Cheryl McNerney and her family.

He was known as a kind and gentle soul with a wonderful personality and sense of humor.

In addition to his sister, survivors include his father, Roderick Anderson; brothers Rick Anderson and Dean Anderson; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, 1717 Bellevue Way N.E.

Michael Albert Capellaro, of Renton, died May 23, 2006, in Kennewick. He was 43.

He was born July 7, 1962, in Renton. He lived in Renton for 43 years. Mr. Capellaro was a carpenter and also a member of Sons of Italy, Renton Eagles and Renton Old Timers Picnic. He enjoyed ocean property and mushroom picking.

Survivors include his father, Larry Terri Capellaro, of Tukwila; mother, Susan Capellaro, of Auburn; grandparents Vernie Hanna, of Auburn, and Wanda Capellaro; of Renton; and sisters Lisa Capellaro, of Renton, and Gina Capellaro, of Auburn.

A memorial service will take place 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Skyway VFW 9430 in Seattle.

Gertrude E. Capron, of Kent, died May 21, 2006, in Lacey. She was 85.

She was born Dec. 22, 1920, in Coaldale, Colo. She married Lloyd E. Capron on Oct. 4, 1948, at the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church in Tacoma. She lived in Kent and the Auburn Valley for 25 years.

She was a homemaker and a member of Kent Assembly of God and Auburn Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include her daughters, Sara Ann Crider and Patty Madden; brother Walter Aldrich; sister Gladys Brunet; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price Helton Funeral Home in Auburn. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Price Helton. Burial follows at Mt. View Cemetery in Auburn.Russell L. Everson

Russell L. Everson, of Bellevue, died of cancer May 24, 2006, in Bellevue. He was 88.

Mr. Everson was born Oct. 1, 1917, in Bemidji, Minn. He graduated from Bemidji High School in 1935 and from Bemidji Business College in 1937. He married June M. Everson on Feb. 12, 1940, in Bemidji. Mr. Everson was employed by Kellogg Sales Co. and was a division sales manager from 1941 to 1977, when he retired.

He was a member of Manufacturing Representatives Club and Bellevue Probus.

Mr. Everson enjoyed golf, volunteer church work, fishing, reading and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughters, Nancy Jo Witt and Patricia Ann Smith; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church.

Remembrances may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Neva J. Stevens, of Snoqualmie, died May 25, 2006, at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. She was 70.

She was born July 11, 1935, in Two Harbors, Minn. She graduated from Issaquah High School in 1953.

She married Willard D. Stevens Dec. 26, 1952, in Snoqualmie. She lived in Snoqualmie for 50 years.

Mrs. Stevens was a medical receptionist at the Snoqualmie Valley Clinic for more than 20 years. Then she worked at Snoqualmie Middle School as a teacher's aide for several years. She was an administrative assistant for Network Systems from 1986 until retirement.

She enjoyed salmon fishing, camping in the motor home, sewing, cooking, reading and crossword puzzles.

She was a lifetime member of the Rainbow Girls, Renton Pickering Post 79 of American Legion Auxiliary and the Lake Sammamish Elks 1843 Camping Club. She was president of the Lumber and Sawmill Workers Union Auxiliary.

Besides her husband, survivors include her sons, Scott Stevens of Snoqualmie and Jeff Stevens of Othello; daughter Teresa Schomber of North Bend; sister Betty LaPierre of Spirit Lake, Idaho; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A committal service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.

A reception will take place 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Teresa Schomber's home in North Bend.

Remembrances may be made to the Northwest Kidney Centers Foundation in Seattle.

Ruby Virginia Ready, of Renton, died May 26, 2006, at Eastside Hospital in Redmond. She was 70.

She was born May 5, 1936, in Harrison, Ark. She lived in Renton for 50 years.

She enjoyed gardening, playing the organ, cooking and sewing with the Gospel Mission Bus. She was a member of New Life Church, formerly Renton Assembly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ready; son Johnny Lee Ready; and daughter Barbara Lynn Newman.

Survivors include her son Jerry Ready; daughters Janet L. Walsh, Nancy Calvo-Raff and Susan Ready; brothers Jessie Fox and Ed Fox; sister Bea Rasey; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton, followed by a service at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Chapel in Renton.

Burial follows the service at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.

Vivian Adair Skelly, of Renton, died May 27, 2006, in Renton. She was 78.

She was born June 4, 1927, in Everett. Before marriage, she worked at Heaters Glove Manufacturing and The Salvation Army. She married Richard Martin Skelly on Oct. 11, 1946. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and fishing.

Besides her husband, survivors include her son, Rich Skelly; daughter, Mari Skelly; brother Ronald Gilbert, of Port Angeles; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
