Sooner or later, police believe Michael Kuchinski will cough up the diamond ring they accuse him of stealing.
Well, he won't actually cough it up. Because authorities in upstate New York say Kuchinski swallowed the ring.
He allegedly spotted it in a bedroom while delivering furniture.
Sheriff's deputies took him to a hospital, where an X-ray led doctors to determine the ring was inside Kuchinski, it wouldn't hurt him, and it was best to just let it go through the digestive process.
As one sheriff's official puts it, they're waiting for nature to take its course.
