Prime Minister Tony Blair’s eldest son Euan, 22, has been hospitalized on the Caribbean island of Barbados after suffering a stomach complaint, the prime minister’s office said on Friday.

Sky television said a doctor at the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Bridgetown told them Euan Blair’s condition was improving and he would probably be discharged later on Friday.

“It’s Euan. He was taken in for a stomach complaint,” said a spokesman at Downing Street. “We not going to get into any more detail.”

The Blairs were on holiday in Barbados. The prime minister, who has three sons and a daughter, arrived back in Britain on Friday.
