The deal
Headed to Chicago this fall and looking for a place to stay? Look no further. We found a slew of bargains in the Midwestern metropolis, valid for stays at centrally located properties through the end of the year. Rates now start at just $109 for a historic overnight a hop and a skip from the Windy City’s lakefront.

Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel for just $118/nt
Housed in a 1920s edifice, this landmark hotel sits just a stone’s throw from the lakefront, along the Magnificent Mile right downtown. Despite the recent multimillion facelift, vintage charm still abounds here. Fodor’s writes, “Rose moiré wallpaper lines the hallways, and exuberant floral bedspreads combine with gold- and cream-striped pillows for a rich, colorful decor.” On the premises is a fusion restaurant, while the lobby bar serves a dizzying variety of martinis. Regular nightly rates here run north of $300, but you can get away with an absolute steal if you book through Orbitz. Rooms now sell from $118/night!

Stay central at Affinia Chicago for only $109/nt
Minutes away from the Magnificent Mile, this 29-storey midrange property can’t be beat for convenient access to attractions. Gayot.com writes, “Formerly all suites, the hotel now offers a combination of executive rooms, suites and a 29th floor penthouse with amazing views and private use of the rooftop swimming pool. One of the most unique features is the canopy beds with pillowtop mattresses, which grace each accommodation. Décor is tasteful and residential in style . . .” It’s a popular three-star option where rack rates run upward of $350! But courtesy of Hotels.com, you can now get an overnight here for just $109.

Best Western Inn of Chicago now just $109/nt
At this excellently located three-star hotel, comfy rooms come with cherry-wood furniture, classic Chicago photos, skyline vistas and perks such as free local phone calls. The high-rise also features two restaurants, a bar and an open-air rooftop terrace on the 15th floor, with a fitness center. But the location is what makes this spot a favorite midrange overnight. It’s located half-a-block from the Magnificent Mile and two blocks from Rush Street restaurants, bars and nightlife. Combine all of the above with the low rate we found on Expedia – just $109/night – and you’ll be booking your Chicago sojourn in no time!
