After the session, the California lawmaker vowed not to cut off funding for U.S. troops in Iraq. She said she'd establish a commission to investigate "waste, fraud and abuse" associated with the U.S. mission in Iraq.
Meanwhile, Congressman Steny Hoyer says there is going to be "significant oversight as to how and why we got to where we are" in Iraq.
The Majority Leader-elect says Americans are looking for lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to work together to change the direction of the U.S. mission in Iraq.
