On the opening day of his new “Die Hard” movie, Bruce Willis was in Washington donating some props from the action series.

Willis donated a tank top splattered with fake blood, a script for “Live Free or Die Hard” and one of his character’s police badges. They’ll go on display at the Smithsonian on July 12th.

Willis said it is “cool” to know fans will be seeing his memorabilia for generations, but he doesn’t think his donations are the coolest in the museum. He thinks Dorothy’s ruby slippers from “The Wizard of Oz” are “far cooler.”
