Music Intelligence Solutions, Inc., a global leader in the field of digital music and media discovery, today announced the appointment of Stratton Leopold to its Advisory Board. The announcement comes after the company recently completed a joint research and development initiative with a global television network to apply its proprietary solutions in the area of digital video to further enhance the consumer experience with rich media and music.
"Music Intelligence Solutions is pleased to welcome Stratton Leopold, Executive Producer of 'Mission Impossible 3' and many other major motion pictures, to our Advisory Board as an expert in the creation and distribution of digital media," said David Meredith, CEO. "User generated content is expected to increase to over 900 billion gigabytes in the next few years, so the explosion of online data requires better solutions to enable consumers to produce and discover high-quality digital media in an intuitive way on any device."
Stratton Leopold produces major motion pictures and has worked in the media business for over three decades, with more than 50 film credits to his name for a variety of roles including Executive Producer. Leopold's work has included critically acclaimed and commercially successful blockbusters such as "Mission Impossible 3" (MI: 3), "Sum of All Fears," "Paycheck," "The General's Daughter," "Tango and Cash," as well as film classics like "The Big Chill," "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen," John Huston's "Wise Blood," and John Carpenter's "They Live!" Leopold previously held the title of Executive Vice President at Paramount Pictures. In addition to his successful motion picture career, Leopold owns Leopold's Ice Cream, a legendary business founded in 1919. In 2007, Leopold's accomplishments were featured in the book titled "Adventurous Dreams, Adventurous Lives."
"Music Intelligence Solutions' patented music discovery offering -- Music Intelligence Universe(TM), and unique market potential prediction solution -- Hit Song Science(TM), are the best solutions that I have seen in the marketplace globally," said Stratton Leopold, Motion Picture Producer. "With the growth in short mobile video clips or 'mobisodes' for wireless devices and the importance of digital music videos to consumers who enjoy music online, this is a natural direction to extend the Music Intelligence web 2.0 platform. I am excited to be a part of the team during this period of growth."
