The Woman of the Year Mother's Day package includes a bouquet of flowers in your room upon arrival, breakfast or brunch for two, and accommodations at one of two Hilton properties. The 267-room Doubletree Hotel Boston-Downtown is located in the theater district, two blocks from the Boston Common and the Public Garden, across the street from the New England Medical Center, and within walking distance to the Freedom Trail. Airport-hotel transfers are not provided; expect to pay $25 each way for a taxi. The 197-room Doubletree Club Hotel Boston-Bayside is next to the Boston Bayside Expo & Conference Center. The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers, from $199 per room per night
The Pay Your Birth Year package includes one night at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers at the $199 room rate—and a second night at a rate equal to the last two digits of the year you were born. (If you were born in 1950, you pay $50.) The historic 950-room downtown hotel has undergone several renovations since opening in 1927. It's adjacent to the Public Garden and has eight restaurants and lounges, including Todd English's Bonfire Steakhouse, Swans Café, and McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant. The Baseball as America package includes one night at Hotel Marlowe and breakfast for four (valued at up to $100) at Bambara, a Cambridge, Mass., restaurant serving a New American menu. You'll also score four VIP passes to the Museum of Science, featuring the "Baseball As America" exhibit, and classic baseball treats, Cracker Jacks and soda.
