Fact file: Celebrities who have had stalkers

The recent death of Arkansas TV newswoman Anne Pressly has raised the possibility that the anchor had a stalker that police didn't know about until it was too late to protect her. Here are some other famous faces who have filed complaints of unwelcome and uncomfortable attention from viewers.

An anchor for KATV in Little Rock, Ark., Anne Pressley, 26, was attacked in her home on Oct. 20, 2008, and died from her injuries five days later. Her attacker has not yet been identified.

For former FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt, the authorities must continue at least three different theories concerning the reason for her assault: Was she the victim of a current or former boyfriend? The victim of a stalker who she has never met? Or she was in the wrong place at the wrong time, i.e., the victim of a random though horrific personal assault, probably related to robbery?
