Why it's a deal: According to a recent search on Kayak, round-trip airfare between L.A. and Honolulu starts at $360, including taxes, for departures in mid-January (American). For an additional $802, the Online Vacation Center package covers round-trip flights as well as seven nights' accommodation aboard a cruise ship, all meals, nonalcoholic beverages, and airport taxes and fees.

Itinerary: Honolulu-Hilo-Kahului-Kona-Kauai-Honolulu.

Lodging: Seven nights in an inside stateroom aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's 2,146-passenger Pride of America; add $100 per person to upgrade to an ocean-view cabin and $300 per person for a room with a balcony.
