Winter in Los Angeles has felt a bit like summer of late.
The National Weather Service said Monday was the city's ninth straight day with temperatures in the 80s — a record for January.
Meteorologist Jamie Meier said a high of 82 degrees was recorded at a University of Southern California weather station near downtown.
Forecasters expect Tuesday to be cooler with temperatures in the 70s. And a Pacific storm is forecast to bring rain on Wednesday.
