Room rates are $100 per room for a one-night stay (20 percent off the $125 nightly rate), $188 for a two-night stay and $263 for a three-night stay. This deal is also available at slightly higher rates at two other Chicago hotels: The Willows and City Suites.

The hotel has a three-level fitness club and an indoor pool decorated in 1920s-style glamour. You'll be close to the shopping on the Magnificent Mile and near the Merchandise Mart, a huge showroom space where you can see designer home goods. Rates start at $209 per room per night.

If you're simply looking for a great rate, don't forget about hotels.com. The site has 413 properties in Chicago to search. When we recently clicked on the "Chicago" tab, there was a $33 per room per night rate at the Super 8 Motel in East Hazel Crest, a suburb 26 miles south of Chicago proper. Hotels.com also has an impressive rewards program, which we blogged about this summer.
