Prosecutors charged a Los Angeles woman with attempted premeditated murder of an exotic dancer who was doused with flammable liquid and set ablaze outside a club.

The district attorney's office said 27-year-old Rianne Celine Theriault-Odom was also charged Wednesday with mayhem and torture. Prosecutors did not immediately comment on an alleged motive.

The 27-year-old victim remained hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said. They did not release her identity.

Theriault-Odom allegedly exchanged words with the dancer early last Thursday outside the Babes & Beer nightclub, doused her with an accelerant contained in a soda bottle and set her afire.

It was unclear Wednesday whether Theriault-Odom has an attorney.
