Don’t risk having a stop put on your credit card in the middle of your vacation.
FREQUENT CHARGES in a location far from your home looks like unauthorized use to credit card companies, and they may put a stop on your card to protect your account. Before you leave, call your credit provider to let them know your travel plans. It saves having to deal with it in a strange place after your card is invalidated.
