EDINBURGH, Ind. (AP) - An Indiana conservation officer has found the body of a 2-year-old girl who disappeared when the canoe she was riding in with her parents capsized.

The body of Megan McNair was found about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday by Conservation Officer Jay Noble downstream from a logjam on the Driftwood River that the child was swept under on Sunday.

Family members told authorities that the girl was wearing safety gear at the time of the accident. Her parents and 5-year-old sister made it to safety.
