State Road 9A will be getting a new name next week.
It will be dedicated in honor of the late President Ronald Reagan.
Earlier this year, the state legislature voted to designate the highway as the "Ronald W. Reagan Memorial Highway."
It will officially be dedicated on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Philips Highway and Greenland Road near the 9A interchange.
One of the signs that will go up along 9A will be unveiled during the ceremony.
