BURBANK, Wash.-- With memories to last a lifetime, one local retired serviceman got his homecoming from Vietnam, even if it was forty years later.

We first brought you the story of former navy sailor Dennis Jonker when he first found out about the homecoming for all Vietnam veterans at Ft. Campbell in Kentucky. The Burbank man is back after his week long trip and told us even though he didn't know anyone at the event, they all were united in their service.

"Whether i know anyone else there that didn't make any difference; I'm a member of a great big club," Jonker said through his tears. "...and that's of Vietnam veterans. We're all a great big brotherhood."

Friends helped pay for the traveling costs for Jonker to go to Kentucky. In all, he says more than a thousand Vietnam veterans came for the homecoming.
