Gas Prices Holding Steady

Retailers are holding the line on gas prices across the nation.

The most recent Lundberg Survey shows the average price for a gallon of self-serve, regular, unleaded gas ticked up only a fraction of a cent over the last two weeks.

It's at $2.64 a gallon. That price is more than a dollar lower than a year ago.

In Arkansas today, regular unleaded is averaging $2.45 a gallon.

Trilby Lundberg, who compiles the poll, predicted retail gas prices will stay in a holding pattern over the next few weeks.

The survey shows Honolulu has the most expensive gas, at $3.17. Charleston, South Carolina, drivers enjoy the lowest price in the nation, at $2.39 a gallon.
