Boeing gets $76.6 million Army helicopter pact

Boeing Co. last week received a $76.6 million contract from the Army to provide manufacturing development and engineering support services for the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, the Pentagon said late Monday.

Boeing Co. last week received a $76.6 million contract from the Army to provide manufacturing development and engineering support services for the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, the Pentagon said late Monday.

Work will be performed in Mesa, Ariz. and is expected to be completed by Feb. 14, 2015.

The agency said bids were solicited online, with one bid received.

Shares of the Chicago-based company added 88 cents to close at $52.28.
