Celanese raises prices on emulsions

Chemical company Celanese Corp. said Friday that it would raise prices for emulsions sold in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East by 50 euros ($72.82) to 60 euros ($87.39) per ton.

Chemical company Celanese Corp. said Friday that it would raise prices for emulsions sold in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East by 50 euros ($72.82) to 60 euros ($87.39) per ton.

The increases would be effective Oct. 1 or as early as allowed by their contracts.

Shares of Dallas-based Celanese rose 22 cents to $26.72 in late morning trading.
