COLUMBUS, Ind. (AP) - Bartholomew County Prosecutor Bill Nash says his office will review the death of a 2-year-old girl who drowned when the canoe in which she was riding with her parents capsized on the Driftwood River.

Megan McNair drowned Aug. 8 after her body was swept under a logjam on the river near Edinburgh, about 30 miles south of Indianapolis

The girl had been canoeing with her parents, Patrick and Melanie McNair, and a 5-year-old sister when the boat capsized. Her body was found three days later.

Family members told authorities that the girl was wearing safety gear at the time of the accident.
