The Journey Continues. And, in this case Zooney Fest continues. The annual event to raise awarenss and money for people in the Southern Tier going through life threatening health problems will continue Saturday. Zooney Fest originally started in 2005 to help Joe Zunic who was battling ALS. He passed away January of last year. But, Joe insisted the event happen every year to help others. This year Terry Berge of Berkshire who is battling brain cancer and the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier will benefit. Over the past four years, about 100-thousand dollars has been raised through Zooney Fest. Jared Bowling says, Joe was the kind of guy who was very generous with his time, he wanted to help people and wanted to put an event together that would help anyone out. The people we're benefiting this year are the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier and Terry Birge really fit that bill. Terry is a hard working, fun loving guy with a family and he needs some help. He's sick and dealing with some difficult issues.
