Elmwood Arts Fest Draws Crowds

Sunday's weather was not exactly perfect for outdoor activities but plenty of people still made their way to Buffalo's Elmwood Avenue for the annual art festival. The event has grown over the years and it is now in it's tenth year. The goal of the festival is to give regional artists and musicians a family-oriented venue for presenting their work.

"We saw some of the cool stuff on environmental row like the rain buckets and stuff like that and we're going to go get some food later," says Buffalo resident Lily Peterson.

"It's been really good. A lot of people, lot of people, a lot of fun," says Jan Brecht, a Buffalo artist who has worked the festival almost every year.

Organizers hope the festival is an economic development tool for the entire Elmwood village.
