JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Plans for an $80 million civil rights
museum in Mississippi are on hold - with no funding, no timetable
and no board of directors. In March 2008, the commission voted to
put the museum on the Tougaloo College campus, which served as a
safe haven for those taking part in the movement.
