China Sunergy Co. said Monday that it received several sales contracts from Australian photovoltaic company NUE PTY Ltd.
Terms were not disclosed.
China Sunergy CEO Ruennsheng Allen Wang said in a statement that the deal helps further diversify its sales channels, with Australia adding to its new market base.
The Chinese solar cell maker said it plans to ship up to 10 megawatts of monocrystalline solar modules to NU PTY, which is known as NU Energy. Partial shipments started in June, with full delivery targeted for completion by early next year.
