A former Buffalo high school student, Jayvonna Kincannon, appeared on a Buffalo courtroom today with her grandmother and an aunt on charges she hit a police officer.

Kincannon, her grandmother Marsha Jones, and Aunt Darlene Fitzgerald did not speak to "Eyewitness News" after leaving court today. All three now facing a harrassment charge.

Previous chargs include obstruction of governmental administration, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Police say a dispute between two families led to an all out brawl of 30-40 people. During that time, police say Javonna's grandmother, 54 year old Marsha Jones, resisted arrest and that Officer Kim Beatty was attacked by Kincannon.

The family says it was self defense, and are looking at filing charges against police for brutality.
