MOSES LAKE, Wash. - Grant County authorities say a fire burning in a hay bale manufacturing facility will likely burn for several days.

The fire, burning in Courtright Enterprises, is confined to a 250,000 square foot concrete building which was believed to have 70,000 tons of hay inside when the fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

The roof of the building collapsed early during the fire as did other portions of the 4 to 5 story building. Authorities believe the rest of the building is unstable, due to explosions reported early in the fire and could collapse at any time.

There have been no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Courtright Manufacturing, located approximately three miles from downtown Moses Lake, produces hay bales as livestock feed for export to Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
